Undergraduate in Communication Engineering, Anhui University
Hello! I am Pan Wang, currently an undergraduate student majoring in Communication Engineering at the School of Electronic Information Engineering, Anhui University (Project 211 / Double First-Class University). I maintain an excellent academic record (GPA: 4.27/5.0, Rank: 4/163, Top 2.5%) and have been awarded the Excellent Student Scholarship and Academic & Technology Scholarship of Anhui University.
My core research interests lie in the intersection of Deep Learning and Optical Communications, as well as Digital Signal Processing (DSP). Currently, my research focuses on mitigating wavefront distortion and mode crosstalk caused by atmospheric turbulence in Free-Space Optical (FSO) communications. I proposed a cascaded deep learning framework based on a physics-aware Transformer (Uformer-OAM) and soft information calibration, which aims to provide a low-cost software demodulation solution for high-capacity FSO communications. As the first author, the related paper is currently under review in a CAS Q2 journal.
Beyond cutting-edge algorithm research, I am also highly passionate about low-level hardware and software-hardware co-design. I have solid experience in embedded system development, familiar with MCUs like 8051 and MSPM0G3507, and proficient in Python, MATLAB, and various circuit design tools. I have led or participated in several challenging engineering projects, including an “Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) UAV Detection System based on Novel Array Antennas and USRP,” and a “Self-Aiming Device based on Multi-Sensor Fusion and Machine Vision,” which won the Second Prize in the National Undergraduate Electronics Design Contest (NUEDC) in Anhui Province.
I firmly believe that combining theory with practice yields the most valuable scientific outcomes. I am currently actively preparing for graduate school applications and interviews. If you are interested in my research background or engineering experience, please feel free to reach out to me via email!
